This Privacy Policy explains how NR DELIVERY MALAYSIA ("NR Delivery", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use our mobile app and related services (the "Services").

2. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to information processed when you use:

  • NR Delivery Android application;
  • Our website and customer ordering pages; and
  • Customer support and communications related to the Services.

3. Information we collect

A. Information you provide

  • Account & profile: name, phone number, email, password (stored securely), preferences, saved addresses.
  • Order details: items ordered, quantities, delivery notes, order history, and messages related to your order.
  • Delivery info: address and (if you choose) a map pin/coordinates to help the rider find you.
  • Payment & billing:
    • Google Play Billing (if used): purchase status and transaction identifiers returned by Google Play.
    • Bank transfer proof (if you upload): receipt images and transfer references you submit.
    • Cash on delivery: payment status (paid/unpaid) for order completion.
  • Support: messages, emails, call details (time/reason), and attachments you send.

B. Information collected automatically

  • Device & log data: IP address, device model, OS/app version, timestamps, diagnostic/crash logs.
  • Usage data: pages/screens used inside the app, actions taken (cart/checkout), performance metrics.
  • Network state: connection type and status (to load content reliably).
  • Push notification identifiers: a device token/registration ID for delivering notifications (when enabled).
  • Approximate or precise location (only if you allow it): to show nearby vendors and help delivery.
No selling of personal or sensitive data.

We do not sell personal or sensitive user data, and we do not share it for purposes that facilitate a sale.

4. How we use your information

  • Provide the service: create accounts, accept orders, coordinate vendors and deliveries, and send order updates.
  • Payments: confirm transactions, record payment status, process refunds/adjustments (when applicable).
  • Support: reply to requests, investigate issues, and handle disputes.
  • Safety & fraud prevention: detect suspicious activity and protect users, vendors, and riders.
  • Improve reliability: fix bugs, monitor performance, and improve app stability.
  • Communications: service notices, security alerts, and policy updates.

Google Play requires transparent disclosure of how apps access, collect, use, and share user data, and secure transmission for sensitive data.

5. Who we share information with

A. Vendors (restaurants/shops)

  • Order items, notes, and order status.
  • Your name and contact number when needed for order clarification.
  • Delivery address/pin details needed to fulfill the order.

B. Delivery partners / riders

  • Your name, contact number, delivery address, delivery notes, and pin/location details required to deliver your order.

C. Service providers (processors)

We use trusted providers to run the app (hosting, databases, maps, notifications, ads, and billing). They process data under their own terms and/or under our instructions, depending on the service. Google Play requires developers to take responsibility for SDK behavior and disclosures.

  • Push notifications: Pushwoosh / OneSignal / Firebase Cloud Messaging (delivery of notifications).
  • Maps/location: mapping services to show nearby vendors and improve delivery accuracy.
  • Ads: Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads (if ads are shown).
  • Billing: Google Play Billing (in-app purchases/subscriptions, if offered).

D. Legal reasons

  • We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and prevent fraud.

6. Advertising, identifiers & analytics

A. Advertising ID (AAID) AD_ID

If the app shows ads, Google's advertising SDKs may use the Android Advertising ID (a resettable identifier) for ad delivery, frequency capping, and measurement. Google provides policy guidance around using the advertising ID for advertising purposes.

  • You can reset or limit ad personalization using your Android device privacy settings.
  • We do not use the Advertising ID to collect sensitive information such as contacts, microphone recordings, or precise location for advertising.

B. Analytics / crash logs

We may collect diagnostic logs to improve stability and troubleshoot issues. We keep this data for a limited period and restrict access. Your Data Safety declaration must match actual behavior.

7. Android permissions & sensitive data access

We request permissions in context (incrementally) and only for features you use. Google Play requires that sensitive permissions make sense for core functionality, and that data is used only for the purposes users consent to.

Prominent disclosure & consent

If any feature uses personal or sensitive data in a way users may not expect (example: background location), the app must show a clear in-app disclosure and get affirmative consent before access/collection begins.

8. Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for order fulfillment, support, legal/accounting needs, dispute handling, and fraud prevention. Google Play expects retention and deletion practices to be disclosed in the privacy policy.

  • Account data: while your account is active and for a reasonable period after deletion/inactivity (unless law requires longer).
  • Order & payment records: retained as required for accounting/tax and dispute resolution.
  • Support messages: retained to resolve issues and improve service quality.
  • Technical logs: retained for security and reliability for a limited period.

9. Account deletion & deletion requests

If you create an account in the app, you can request account deletion. Google Play requires an option to request deletion from within the app and outside the app (for example, via a web resource).

We may keep limited data where required by law or for legitimate purposes (security, fraud prevention, dispute handling). If we retain data, we restrict access and keep it only for the required period.

10. Your choices & rights

  • Access / correction: request what we hold and correct inaccurate details.
  • Withdraw consent: disable optional permissions (location, microphone, contacts, notifications) in Android settings.
  • Opt out of marketing: if you receive promotions, you can unsubscribe.
  • Delete your account: see Section 9.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your data, including access controls and secure transmission for sensitive data. Google Play policy calls for secure handling and modern cryptography (example: HTTPS) for personal and sensitive user data.

No method of transmission or storage is fully secure. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately.

12. Children

Our Services are not intended for children under the age where parental consent is required by applicable law. If you believe a child provided personal data without proper consent, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

13. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the "Last updated" date.
